Siri Schubert Nicolella is the creator of the Cradle Wave Pillow and the founder of Cradle Wave—a woman-owned, grassroots company dedicated to restoring alignment, ease, and true rest in a world that rarely slows down.

With more than 25 years as a massage therapist, extensive certifications in bodywork, and 15 years of experience as a corrective and functional movement specialist, Siri has spent her career helping people understand the language of their bodies. She holds a BA in Contemplative Psychology with an emphasis in Health and Healing from Naropa University, blending somatic awareness, nervous system literacy, and biomechanical insight.

In her clinical practice, Siri witnessed a growing pattern: people experiencing chronic neck tension, tech-neck strain, headaches, jaw pain, shallow breathing, and fatigue—not because they were doing something “wrong,” but because daily life was reshaping their posture. She realized how traditional pillows failed to support cervical alignment, forcing muscles to work when they should be recovering.

“For years, I watched people struggle with sleep-related pain that could be avoided with better alignment,” said Schubert Nicolella, CEO and creator of Cradle Wave Pillow and native Coloradoan. “We designed Cradle Wave to bridge that gap—by bringing orthopedic-level support into a beautifully simple and natural product.”

Cradle Wave was born from that realization.

After years of hands-on work, anatomical study, and personal testing, Siri designed a pillow that supports the neutral curvature of the cervical spine, reduces unnecessary muscle activation, calms the nervous system, and gives the body space to repair itself during sleep. Created with natural latex foam, the Cradle Wave Pillow reflects her commitment to functional design, ethical materials, and the belief that rest is a form of healing.

Siri continues to integrate her work in biomechanics, contemplative practice, HeartMath training, and breath-centered emotional regulation into every aspect of Cradle Wave. Her mission is simple: to help people wake up aligned, replenished, and more fully themselves.
